Default got a little problem introduced today...

I got my oil changed in my SC400/126500 miles and the techs told me i have a slight seepage in my engine oil seals ?!? what exactly does this mean (rebiuld, top bottom??)

I did search for:

engine oil seals
engine oil seals leak
engine oil seals seeping

with no luck

there are plenty of engine oil seals, which ones will determine the difficulty of the repair. please find out exactly which seals are leaking then we might have a better idea on how to help.

i took it to the dealer to have it checked and they said it is just a oil dipstick o ring that is leaking so no big deal.

But the check engine light was on and it is both left and right front O2 sensors heater circuits, dealership wants to charge 700 dollars for the O2 sensors and 200 dollars for the O ring, are these items easy to replace or should i just have them do it???

thanks

i would go to a local indipendant shop to do it. the dealership want so much money. But then agian i have never changed or seen my o2 sensors. the o-ring on the dipstick is really on the dipstick if you have already seen.
