We dropped the motor in yesterday, and wired up, connect all hoses, ect. Go to start the car, it cranks but doesnt turn over. We checked the fuel pump it wasnt working but now it turns on, and the engine gets gas so thats not the problem. Took out a spark plug and see if there are sparks and there are. (btw Im using plugs from my GE engine) However the 02 sensor is cut, but that shouldnt be an issue. Its a 5spd soarer in a 5spd sc... what could it be?
Guesses are... messed up wiring, bad ecu... ????

its the two big orange /black wires (main ignitoin wire) in the engine harness most of the time you have to power it up by running a direct ignition source

To rule out the ecu see if you can find someone with another one and try it.

The problem is the 30A EFI fuse keeps blowing when cranking.

well three thing makes a engine run, fuel, spark and compression. but i dont understand the ? you say it cranks but it doesnt turn over. do you mean the starter turn and the engine doesnt start or the starter doent turn on at all

im prolly wrong with my terminology... when the key is turned, the engine acts like it wants to start. eg: fan spins, makes sound, has spark, but no fuel, so it doesnt idle
