Default Emission Standards: Canada vs. USA

One of the benefits of living in the Pacific NW is how close one is to Canada...and their wonderful importation laws. I've been looking at several 1991 Soarers, (yeah, RHD; 1jz,) and it appears if I can get the car past the border and get insurence on the vehicle my only worry will be DEQ (department of environmental quality-emission testing). The cars have all been registered and passed Canadian emissions, so what are the parameters of Canadian emissions tests, and will it be possible for the 1jzgte to pass, assuming Canadian laws are stricter?

I'm in Oregon so I don't have to worry about uber-strict California laws.

mods: can you move this to the main page of the SC3/4 section.
