What do I need to replace? I am new...help me...I have a 1995 SC400. Just bought it, with 107k miles.

CEL and TRAC OFF light goes on sometimes when driving, usually when slowing down almost to a stop...then goes away after driving...never stays on longer then 10-30 seconds depending on how long I am stopped...I also notice a slight bog from a dead stop...though most people might not realize it...

 

I may have solved my own issues. I guess the previous owner did a throttle cleaning, and I think hosed the MAF/Meter. I hence wiped the MAF dry and reset the Computer...so far it has been good. This for anyone else that may have an issue. I love this car!

How did you wipe the MAF dry? please help. I run into the same trouble as you were. I cleaned my throttle body and sprayed the CRC Mas Air Flow cleaner on MAF. Then everything went wrong.
