Default High Idle and gurggling?

Ok here is the problem car sometimes idles around 3k rpms and I know thats not right at all. It will also stumble from time to time. Now sometimes if I hit the gas in nuetral it will go back down aroun 2rpm. Now the other thing I just noticed today when I turned of the car was a gurggling sound as if someone was trying to get the last sip out of a cup. If any of you guys can help me out I would appreciate it this car is driving me crazy

Wow.. 3000rpm? Something is definitely wrong there. These are simple things that you should check before fully getting your car diagnosed.

1. Is your floor mat laying on top your accelerator pedal?
2. Is your check engine light on?
3. When is the last time you had a tune up?

And for more complicating reasons:
- TPS Sensor might be bad
- Throttle Body wire/TB might be stuck opened
- Misfiring could be because of distributor, bad battery, or fouled sparkplugs
