Whipped up a CAI 'till the turbo
Got the SC back from the body shop (picked up a 97 black black five speed with a damaged door/quarter panel) and within an hour we dropped it on supra KYB/Eibach (thanks allen). It was irritatingly slow, like the slowest thing I've ever driven in my life by far so I had to at least make some noise or something until I get the AEM EMS in it and whatnot.
3" Stainless Tig welded 304 with 308 rod at 48-50 amps. .065 wall. 4 ply silicone bump connectors, stainless grade 8 t-bolt clamps and an AEM dry flow. Sounds good! Still the slower than frozen **** in jan.
At the same time my friend install the megan coilovers. Very good quality. In fact I feel that the hardware is in some ways better than some very expensive coilovers, and leaps and bounds better than tein.
Enjoy!

My welds look pretty much like yours do now, I don’t get as much practice as I'd like, but I want to get the Roll of quarters look, But its hard on a circular surface like the intake pipe and on aluminum and other relatively softer metals. I always seem to mess up in someway or another
