Post Tranny Fluid

My tranny .. has REALLY old fluid.. i mean OLD..
normally its suppose to be RED but this is dark brown.. and i know i need to change it ASAP (got this car free from my uncle... who got it from my aunt.. who got it from some other person.. now its mine)

anyways..
heres the problem
on the Dip stick it says T2.. soo i know i need THAT tranny fluid.. but where can i go to get the fluid tested to know 100% thats the fluid that is in there? cause this happened to my dad. it said T1 on his stick soo he put t1 tranny fluid and it destroyed the whole car... soo i wanna be on the safe side and get it tested

also
have any one used seafoam tran tune before? i used the regular seafoam and it worked perfectly.. now i wanna try it on my tranny

Thanks
