Default heater problem

i tried to use my heater this morning and it would not get hot. my climate control works well i think it does. it shows the numbers changing to max hot etc. with the a/c on and with/out the a/c on it does not get hot.. what would be the problem.??

start by checking your coolant level. If that's fine, then it may be your heater control valve.

This is so common any search would have yielded results that would help.

make sure the AC button is turned off and let your car warm up........ i don;t know lol

i am having the same problem. can drive the car for an hour and no heat.. then its weird.. like 1 out of 10 times it will work? who knows? i need to search it too cause its getting damn cold out

wlel, i just did the HEATER VALVE HOSE SWITCHEROO and didnt work... would this mean i need a whole new heater control valve?

Have you topped off your coolant? (even though I know you'd have seen this suggestion in other threads )

i too just didnt he vacume line switch.. still no heat .. and totally full coolant

Well, let me tell you something ya don't know know yet.........

As long as your car is not overheating (stuck thermostat), then you are not full on coolant or you have not properly opened the heater core control valve.

There is NOTHING else to stop the flow of coolant. Heaters are REEAAALL simple.
