Default fuel filter backwards??????

I recently changed my fuel filter, but when taking off the old one I didn't remember which direction it was facing in the fuel line The filter has a side labeled "in" and "out". Is the IN side coming from the tank or to the engine?? please help, I dont want to drive it and mess anything up

i would suggest putting the \"Out\" towards your engine since we have yet not mastered the technology of our engines filling our gas tanks

In = from tank
Out = to engine
