Repair turned mod?
Well I have my engine all apart, im replacing the valve seals, and was thinking about swapping some parts out while im in there. Looking at these as my options.
1. New HKS intake cam, either the 264 duration or 272 duration not sure what exactly is the benefit from one to the other a little help here??
2. Boost Logic's 2.5mm headgasket, Im still NA but would like to go turbo. Would i be better to wait to do both at once. Am I going to lose power while NA??
3. Also looking at removing the EGR system and adding some arp head studs.
I have 110 thousand on my 1992 SC300 now, would I be better off just waiting and rebuilding the engne and doing everything at once or do you think i should go with the above options?
Any input would be helpful, Thanks

1. Not sure, up to you
2. Read jtucci's post
3. Not sure about the EGR, but you cant go wrong w/ changing arp bolts. w/ 110k miles, arp bolts will give ya a bit more security if ur reusing the factory ones.

I have the engine apart to replace the valve seals, it was smoking really really bad from burning oil and it was also fouling out the spark plugs. I knew that the head gasket would change the compression just didnt know it would make that much of a difference in power.
Does anyone have the HKS cams on thier SC300 I would like to hear some feedback on them.
Is there any tuning required when changing the cams?
Thanks for the responses so far, keep um coming
And yes they are original miles.
