Question TE-44 Turbo Rebuild Question

Well after 15,000 (max mileage) on my rebuilt LimitEngineering.com turbo, Majestic Turbo is notifying me that my te-44 needs a $415 rebuild. This is a picture of my turbo emailed to me by Majestic today. What do you all think?:

cant see too much, i'd look at it in person, did your turbo make excessive noise? is there any play in the shaft? thats what i'd ask

see the chunky stuff on the left side, that's definately bearing material. The shaft itself looks ok. I'd ask for pictures of the shaft bearings

The "black stuff" looks to me like roasted oil, seal / bearing failure. The racing
stripe in the center of the shaft is no good. Its right in the center of the bearing
"foot print". See the 2 darker stripes on either side of the cut line, thats where
the bearing begins & ends. 450 to rebuild yours or a G + for a new one from
a quality manufacturer. Kinda your choice.
