Could't you run US spec cats and come close? (seems logical)

You got a gas station nearby that does inspections and an extra 75 bucks? that should cover it.

If it lacks EGR like the 1JZ, then NOx would be through the roof. I'm not sure if Oregon cares much about NOx though.

also in oregon you don't have the nice gas station facility, you actually take it through a government run facility and you can't relaly pass them off money.

Default jdm motor

I had the aristo swap in my car. I was do for emission and was scared. But I passed somehow. All i did was have big wheels on it and slammed the **** out of it. They dont want to be reliable for scratching up ur wheel on the rollers. So they only tested my car at idle. But good news i heard that obd1 cars are done with emissions. Some one correct me if im wrong.

It really depends on what your state looks for in the inspections. Some states are a lot more leaniant(sp?) than others

I've seen a couple of gas stations that do testing, but the results have no bearing, so you could go try and and see if you come close. I live in OR and asked a similar question.

Good Luck
