Hey I had a little prob this morn and I have no idea what the hell is going on with my sc400!I tried to unlock the door but the power was drained got a friend to boost it and and when i got out of the car the d$#@ thing locked me out in the middle of no where luckly there was a tow truck near by ,so he used a slim jim and got the doors unlocked. but when we hooked up the booster cables the alrm went off again "what a gong show" anyhow the car does not want to turn over .as soon as i turn the ignition on the dash lights dim and the car will not turn over and to top it off the %$#@! car still keeps locking me out took it to a dealer{thou I hate to!} don't no when they will get to it because its a week end!! any one got an idea of what would drain the battery and stop the ignition from engaging??? no probs before this other than a fuse fore the heater seemed to be blown yesterday but i pulled the fuse and when it looked fine put it back and the heater worked go figure1 any inputs good gents and ladies out there

Sounds like a dead battery or dead alternator to me although I suppose your door lock ecu/theft ecu (same crap) couldve gone to crap which is very common but generally the door locks simply stop working.

would that "the ecu "cause the battery to go dead and the car not able to turn over even with a boost???
