Default Starter is Dead. What starter for 1jz?

well i just found out that my starter is blown and screws up.. i beleive its the started that came on the 1jz engine set.

i read somewhere that a 2jz one works. but i wanna know which one.. TT or NA

i searched on here already and didnt find anything.. I tried searching on supra forums but they been down for some time now.

hoping for some answers..

your 2jzge starter will work just fine. I gave my buddy with a 93 MKIV TT 6spd my 2jzge 92 auto sc300 starter, the single wire plug was different, but that didnt take but 5 mins to fix.

ok i hope thats true... everyone on supra forums is saying to use a 7mgte starter.. btw my car is not auto its manual if that helps..

the auto starter on the 2jzge worked fine on a 6spd 2jzgte. I can compare them tonight when i get home around midnight if i remember (1jz 2jzge)

i got my manual tranny 2jzge starter sitting right next to me now... so let me know if it works
