Question about 1JZ swap
on a scale of 1-5 on difficulty, what would you guys rate it? I'e been looking at 1jzs into an sc for a project car and wondered about the actual difficulty, it seems easier then the 2jzgte swap (im not sure why though) would it be about a days work provided everything is available? how is it running on a stock 5 speed tranny?
thanks!
thanks!

not necessarily easier, but it doesn't seem to have the stigma that the GTE swap has (price points mainly). After reading through most of the threads here, it seems fairly straight forward. I wouldn't be doing the swap a shop would, it was more of a general question.

i can do a swap in one day from start to finish if everything is lined up before hand (harness extended and all parts needed ready to go).
Then again im opening a shop for 1JZ swaping sc300s in Florida. Yep thats right.

well right now the car it might be going in won't be an SC (it might, i have a lead on a good one w/o an engine) it might be another rear drive toyota so i gotta figure that out first. I'm in fresno, i'll need a shop in around the central valley when the time comes. i'm looking at the engine right now (w/ auto tranny from a soarer) and it needs a good home.
