Default New to the Lexus game

So I am coming from a 500whp 300zx TT, and have always liked the look and luxury of the SC300. I feel that this is going to be my next great automotive adventure. I have an SC lined up with 5spd, but the NA thing just wont work for me. I have been trying to read up on engine swaps available the 1j, 2j gte's seem to be the best. The SC I am looking at is a 92. Which year engines can I swap with the most ease. I plan to run a full stand alone and an entire aftermarket gauge set up down to the speedometer. I dont care if I have A/C but power steering is a must have. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I would appreciate it. I am looking at making 650whp with a single turbo/ full bpu/ and cams.

Budget initially is 6g for parts, labor is a freebie. And then whatever I need I can buy accordingly.

I did a half *** search, but it looks like everyone loves the 1jz. I just wanna know if I am gonna regretting starting this. I have all winter long to do it.

well since na-t is out of the question a complete 1jz with single upgrade will work wonders for you. its smooth good gas mileage considering the power and looks great in the engine bay. this link will help you out when it comes to power of the na-t vs 1jz good luck.
