Default New Intake!







got the heat shield from a member. went and got a MAF adaptor, screws, washers, spacers, and nuts and got an intake. all SC guys you could just run the MAF adaptor and a filter. im doing tests with the shield on and off to see whats better. it sounds awesome and i can feel a difference from 4k-6.5k. also i got a soarer badge

the MAF adaptor i got a kragen-$17.00
the hardware i got a home depot- $4.00

I dig that shroud. Pretty simplistic, but overall functional.

I have been trying to fabricate a very *snug* shroud, and in doing research, I noticed that many people have placed rubber gasket material on the top edges. The material is very similar to the gasket material used just in front of the windshield (for the engine bay). You may want to try adding some of that stuff.

I love that badge. Most I have seen are in gold trim. Where did you get it, may I ask?

yeah im gonna get some thick foam tape stuff so it touches the hood and will be 'air tight' in a way. i got the badge from Tony (acleansc4)

Very nice work, looks the the airbox is well sealed in there. We gotta get another meet going!

YES. Yes indeed.

I picked up my SC3 just prior to the last NorCal get-together, so I didn't yet feel comfortable bringing it.

Is there a defined place to chat about this stuff?
