well yesterday my batteray light came on and it doesnt stay on but comes on when my foots not on the gas but when i gas it it goes away. anyone help please

possibly your alternator, or your battery. Take them off, take them to autozone or advanced and have them load tested for you (for free). More than likely this is your alternator.

Yeah, at higher RPM's your alternator is charging a little, but probably not what it should and at lower RPM's with no foot on the gas it is charging so little or not at all the light comes on. Could be your battery too, but sounds like alternator as with a battery the light usually doens't come on before the car starts to struggle to start for awhile.

thanks it was my alternator . i got it changed today and its running good

What year is your ride? How many miles? Who did the work? How much? Just curious because I figure mine will go out eventually.
