Ok, im about to be a new SC3 owner. I have 10g's to spend.

I found a 92 really nice SC3 auto for 4500obo. Ill probably go buy it. Heres what i want to do:
1jz swap.

What exactly do i need to do it? I want to stay "stock" for now. I can do all the work myself no problem. Where can i get a "front clip" cheap?

My goal with the 10k limit is to get an SC, swap it, rims, and maybe maybe, find room to throw in a 98+ front bumper or some clean looking body kit.

Im moving to the central florida region by next week, fill me in on costs for that swap if anyone knows..

The swap reads to be pretty easy. I would just need to have someone extend the harness for me, i get shy around electrical wires. I would need to locate a complete running swap in the FL area. I gotta 97 f150 with 8ft bed, and a 5x9 enclosed trailer, i can handle the shipping. Im going to rent a warehouse lot with electric as a grarage to do the work in.

 

searching is more polite on your part... the work and info has been posted; don't go make someone else do your work... it comes off as laziness...

If you've got detailed questions that havent already been answered or that you cant find; then post them up...

Within the last month there have been TONS of posts about 1jz swaps... almost anything you need to know can be found here or at supraforums in the 1jz section...

but dont go ask vague questions like: "what do i need to do for the swap?"

HA!!! JHOTEXPORTS.... I go there almost everyday... Nice guys good stuff.. But if it's to good it might just find its way to my shop before being posted forsale They suppose to be getting a shipment this week with some Saorer swaps.. Autos of course

just did it in matts car... not too bad, but faught us a little. where in central florida will you be moving? there are about 5 or 6 active SC owners here in orlando that always get together. we are all good people hit me up on AIM if you get a chance.... driftindaily is my sn.

 

ill be doing it in the deltona or daytona area. I get to florida thursday night. Friday i buy an SC.... within the week we drive to jhotexports and get a soarer clip. hes currently got 3 in stock. I'm staying automatic tranny. If anyone in the area wants to stop by and help, your more then welcome. I personally dont get my licence back til the end of july so its no big rush to get the car on the road, i will be powdercoating most of the engine conponments, and cleaning everything up to show quality (not rice, just nice). The car will be in a workshop garage with plenty of room and all the right tools, the time limit to get the car on the road is end of july.
