Can anyone tell me where i can get a 1jz swapped into my 92 sc400. I believe im in closing talks with a seller, so i need to start collecting important information and hopefully can get the engine shipped there.

ps. if u can do the swap yourself (over the course of a weekend) i am willing to pay cash.

Who's doing your wiring, I suggest sending it to Dr. Tweak since the 1J in the SC4 wiring will be much harder than doing 1J into a SC3 in which you basically just have to extend the body plug wires. Check Josh@FSM in Delaware he does excellent work and he is less than 2 hours north.

i'm really looking forward to this swap, but keeping the stock tranny for now. I haven't even decided where to do the swap. i don't know who to talk to or anything. who is dr. tweak? about how much is the swap gonna run me?

 

Dr. Tweak is in GA and does a lot of Toyota/Lexus JZ wiring among other stuff his website is www.phoenixtuning.com. Do a search for Josh he's a member here and SupraForums and can help with prices etc. Also contact CL member "sc250tt" he's in FL and has done at least 2 1J SC4 swaps and will have a lot of helpful info.
