250rwhp would be my guess without increasing the displacement.. but why spend all that money and end up with half the power?

I have never seen a fully built N/A 2JZGE before, but it would be cool to see one with 13:1 cp w 'lightend/knife edge crank, Built head w/ ITB's, and a standalone all fully tunned and revving past 8K rpms, I bet it could put down over 300WHP easy.

275-300 RWHP would be enough power without turbocharging or any kind of boost, how about running a bigger throttle body with heads port and polish, you guys think that would give some kind of increase in the powerband?

It would be an interesting to see a fully built NA but dollar for hp you are better off boosting.

This is what I would do.. Port/Polish on the head/Dave-H intake manifold/Q45 Throttle Body/Nice Intake/LS400 MAF/SAFC2 to get the most from the increased airflow and the higher flow rate allowed from the MAF/XERD Headers/Remove the cats/Pick the highest flowing exhaust you can find.. [you may not like the sound]/I'd do a bottom end rebuild bored .20 over using factory spec pistons [.20 over of course], and you can try raising the compression a little. The SAFC is going to be a big deal in getting the power.. but that's about what you can do if you want an "All Motor" 2JZ. I honestly don't think you will see 300 to the wheels, but you have the advantage with the 5spd. All this stuff will cost $5k+.. which is exactly what it cost to make double the power safely and efficient. It's up to you..

thanks bro, but right now i have a limited budget, eventually i am going to go with a turbo setup, when i have enough to do everything the right way, so for right now in the mean while, nice exhaust and intake will do it and maybe headers. does anyone know anything about the gains that can be achieved through nice exhaust, headers and intake?

You will feel a slight increase at the throttle.. but you can't except a huge gain. I would just do an intake and exhaust.. at least the intake can be used with a turbo setup.

yeah, making 275-300whp with a NA setup would definitely not be cost efficient at all...

if you're looking to go cheap, look at intake, headers, exhaust... and contemplate nitrous a bit more... its a viable solution

If you have any plans for turbo in the future, then buying headers is 100% POINTLESS.

Exactly. Thats probably $350 worth of a turbo fund that you spend for no reason. You are going to see VERY little gains with intake and exhaust. Just do the BFI intake and save for a turbo kit or a full motor swap.

There is a N/A Supra owner who built up his 2JZ-GE to 400 some rwhp I think. But it cost him an arm and a leg.

are headers really pointless? i wouldn't mind spending 300 if the gains are reasonable, can a 5spd SC300 do mid to high 14's with exhaust, intake and headers and a good SAFC set up?
