Good Bang/Buck BOOST GUAGES?
I'm looking for a cheap as possible without sacrificing accuracy or looks (and ability to be fit somewhere convenienct/stealth in a sc300 5 speed) boost guage. Buying used is an option too. What do you all recommend and use? This boost guage will be used with the DaveH kit and TE44 turbo. Thanks in advance .

Best bang for buck gauges would probably have to be...... Stewart Warner. I got my freinds gauges for his S/C RSX/S in Silver with amber lighting. They look real clean and are really inexpensive. Everyone who see's them think that they are GReedy. But when it comes to the greatest gauges for the SC, nothing beats DEFI BF meters.

I have to 2nd that. Stewart Warner gauges are great, accurate, AND they make one that is -30-0-40... just what everyone should/needs to get (and make use of) .

kaotiq,
lemme do a lil research on the autometer, but I'm interested...I'll let you know. Regarding DEFI boost guage, I think they're too expensive for my needs. I could just spend a little more and have an Apexi AVC-R for that amount of cash, thats why I'm looking for a cheaper one...something I can sell when I go to stage 2 with the AVC-R or MAP-ECU.

Pole Position
Autometer is garbage.
Unless of course my desk is in fact pulling 4 inches of mercury.
You know a guage blows when the 0 'mark' is really a 0 'general area'. I mean please, look at the size of that box that COULD be zero... Pfft.

LoL. Your desk must suck (literally).
I bought the only gauge that is worse than the Autometer:
Actually doesn't seem too bad. Verified it via my MAP sensor and it's rather accurate.

I have had many boost gauges such as Apexi, Greddy and 2 Autometer, and they all look and feel cheap other than the 60mm black greddy electric boost gauge, very easy install and very acurate and looks classy and simple.

Stewart Warner's are cheaper than AutoMeter (price-wise) and seem to be more accurate when we are comparing them to our map sensors. My AutoMeter always read like 31-32 psi when it was only getting 28-29 on the MAP sensor.
