Default Stupid Stupid Me TRANNY/CLUTCH ISSUE

Today I was with a friend and I dropped the clutch at 6200 and smoke started pouring out of the transmission then the car WAs SUPER HARD to get into gear so I drifted it in somewhere and i'd put it in gear let the clutch out and it'd stall. So then I tried a few more times and now it just acts like the cars in neutral no matter what gear your in clutch in or out. My dad is saying how stupid I am and how hes probably selling my car because he needed the car sometimes when my mom had theres and now its a 7 thousand dollar door stop.
Please give me some thoughts, my dad tells me "The tranny or rearend is done" But I think its the clutch and it smells like burntup clutch too.

prolly the clutch.....the only thing that coulda caused smoke outta the tranny of a manual is the clutch. You could of damaged something else too though? I would take it to a good tranny place and find out for sure. You're much more honest than I am, I would of never told my dad the truth about what I had done....haha...good luck!

Man..it's probably the clutch. They aren't too strong to handle the abuse!

I'd like to know too.

You don't have to drop the clutch at 6200RPM to get the tires spinning. That's just abuse.
