Default Bolt on exhaust / muffler.

Hey, Im looking for a bolt on catback or muffler system. Id prefer to get just mufflers since that would be cheaper. I know there are some universal muffler system, but I heard that you have to hack and weld then on. Isnt there anything that bolts on or goes on resonably easy?

ADDED QUESTION: If i get new mufflers welded on... or my resonators removed is there anyway to go back?

Try www.intellexual.net

That should tell u.

Apart from that Magnaflow and Borla are probably the 2 most popular here. Alternatively, get some custom exhaust work done - pull ur resonators, get an X pipe made - there are many options available.

Peace,
Jonny

Yeah, u will need a muffler shop to do it unless u can bend pipe and weld!

If u do a search you will find video footage of mine and several other peoples who ahve all done it. I still have my stock mufflers and my car sounds awesome. I was going to put mufflers on after I had the work done but then when I heard it it sounded too good to mess with so I left it the way it was.

let me know if u need more info,
Peace,
jonny

Thanks for the help.. I heard that some people just take off the resonators. Will that make it sound better? Will it add hp? Also can you pass inspection with your exhaust like that?

if you leave the resonators you wont notice much of a difference in sound for some mufflers. Everyone here does custom piping and removes the resonators. You will still pass inspection, since your cat has been untouched.
