Default TT internals, will I need HG

I'm gettin ready to turbo my N/A 5spd and I was going toswap in the TT internals so I could have a better bottom end. i'm ordering the Powerhouse Racing Stage 2 kit from MVP. But I was wondering if I will need to take off my head and change the crappy stock head gasket over to a thicker metal one even with the TT internals. And yes I did do a search and came up with no real answer. A little help would be nice guys.

If you're swapping in TT internals, why not save yourself the trouble and swap the motors over? The TT block would be stronger than the NA motor's one too (I'm pretty sure).

the ge internals are just as strong as the gte internals, all you need for na-t is a thicker hg and head studs.

The rods on your GE will be the same as GTE. Piston are a little bit different though. I would just swap out the H/G and leave your bottom end alone.

I know you know what you're talking about and all, but I'm pretty sure the GTE rods are thicker than, and therefore stronger than, the GE's.

You are wrong on this. GTE and GE rods are the same. We took them out and compare. Also this is the part number 13201-46040 the rods. Now VVT-i rods are a different story.

now... the question is... will a thicker HG and head studs outlast going the TT internals route?

also... taking into consideration power levels...
