This is my very first post, I just joined the forum last week or so.

Currently I don't have a Lexus, I drive a 2002 Nissan Skyline GTR.

I am very interested in getting a GS300 as a 2nd car, maybe I can come to your meeting to check out some of you guy's GS if you guys don't mind.

You are definitely welcome to come to our meet. The official meet is going to be Nov. 17th (Sunday).....exact detail has not been planned yet at this point.

Please just check back this thread and get the latest update. I am hoping to iron out all the detail by the end of this month.

May I ask how many clubLexus's member in SD have a GS300? That is the model I am most interested in seeing.

I believe there are 2 GS300 in SD at this point and the other GS are all GS400 and GS430.

I will see if Kevin (service manager from Bob Baker Lexus) will show up in the "Oct 26th" get together. He is a good person to know when you do have your Lexus. By the way, besides the engine, I don't think there is a much difference between GS3 and the GS4 stock to stock. I think most of us here have modified our car one way or an another.

Can we do an another "Hooter" meet in Nov. 17th at Pacific Beach? The only thing that I am not certain is the parking situation down there. I have never been into that particular location. If anyone knows the parking situation down there please let us know if they have enough parking space for us all park together.

Thank you for the infos.

I guess it doesn't matter, I would like to see any GS. The reason I am interested in the 300 is because if I do end up getting a GS300, I would go get a 2JZGTE + 6-speed Getrag from a Supra put into it. I know most people dream and talk about doing that conversion, but I am actually serious about doing that. I already contacted SP Engineering and they have no problem doing that. Now I just have to find out if a GS is really the car for me. And also I like to learn more about all the other things about the GS beside the drivetrain, bodykit, wheels, suspension.......etc.

I am all for it! I will be there on a set date. Although my car is a mess right now, I will try and make it look better by the meet

 

If my Twin Turbo LS400 is done by then, i will show up.

 

Do they have an Hooters down at the beach? Parking will be a problem I'm sure espically if we roll in there with like 20 or so Lexi.
