Not a show stopper, but I can not make it if it is on 10 Nov

 

ofcourse it is a show stopper, don't you at least owe me a drink or an appetizer or something from the last meet.....?

Okay,
here is the breakdown so far......

Charger has home game on..... NOV. 3rd, 17th, DEC. 1st, 8th
This will come in play if we want to go to the Hooters. (We don't want to be in Mission Valley area)

The left over weekends are
Oct. 27th (so far no ojection except with people who are involved with the SEMA show on Nov 7th, 8th, 9th......but they still have a week in between) and we are eating at the Hooters!!!!!

Nov. 10th....(but Gunner cannot make it)

Nov. 24th.....(maybe too close to the Thanksgiving weekend, many people might be gone already, including myself)

Dec. 15th......(we might as well have a Christmas gift exchange program or something......)

If we don't meet at Hooters... Nov. 17th would work out fine for everyone at this point since Charger playing at home won't affect us. However, going to Hooters, we sure can post some good wholesome "family" quality pictures for other members.

Summary:

Want to eat at the Hooters...... Oct. 27th, Nov 24th, Dec. 15th

No Hooters .....Nov. 17th, Dec. 1, Dec. 8th.


Oct. 27th and Nov. 17th has my vote.

I will not make Nov 10th either that is the Marine Corps Birthday ball day. Which is the same reason why GunnerMac won't be able to attend either I'm guessing.

Kaju - Oct 27th gets my vote...no excuses or plans for that date and the lunch at Hooters makes it even more appealing

I just got a reply from Kevin, the service manager from Bob Baker Lexus of El Cajon, they are going to sponsor us for this event.

"Count Bob Baker Lexus in for sponsorship. We will kick in for a budget for food and such. Figure about $200.00 or so. Any questions just write or call me. Kev"

I just want to take this opportunity to thanks Kevin and Bob Baker Lexus for sponsoring our Lexus event again. They have volunteered the sponsorship without anyone asking for it. Big props to them.

I am pretty sure that we will not take advantage of their stewardship.

One thing is for sure...I'm definitly NOT a Charger fan!!!!

Would that be Oct. 13th or Nov. 13th? Oct 13th most likely is no go since I cannot get this thing organized that soon. People are slow to response with things like this. Anyway, let me know when your *** is going to be down here, we can still hook up meet or no meet.

 

I will try to make it if it's in November...December most likely won't work as I'll be out of town most of the month, I'm guessing the 17 would proably be the best time.

Kaju - We need to set a date for this meet so I can start working on getting a "permission slip"

 

It seems like we are not gonna get too many replies to this message board. Oh well, small meet is fine by me.

It seems that in order to accommondate most of the members here, Nov. 17th sounds like a good date. Papa and myself will just have to go to Hooters some other times by ourselves.....

Assuming the meet is on Nov. 17th which will give everyone plenty of time to plan ahead, we will need a new eatery location. Papa....got anymore suggestions? Charger game will attract too much traffic down at the Mission Valley area. We might have to stay around Norty County area for this meet. If anyone has any suggestion please post it up so we can talk about it.

Nevertheless, I think Papa has suggested a good place for us to meet during the spring/summer time. If everything works out, we will try to have an annual "Hooters" meet during the Spring/Summer season in San Diego. (for those who has never been in the "Hooters" , you will be initiated........ muhahahaaaaa )

Time: Nov. 17th

Place:
1. Meet at one of the vendor's shop for a brief tech session (possibily - Modern Image) get to see that nice 911Turbo again.

2. Group drive to a place to eat (location is undetermined at this time)

3. open for suggestion.....(group cruise down by the beach area?)


I am still waiting for more SD members' replies.......if you guys know how to get hold of them.....

We can do the Hooters get together anytime just let me know.

Nov 17th works for me and the beach cruise sounds like a plan.

Don't know of any other places to eat, I was thinking of maybe we could eat down by the beach before our ride but I think that would definitly be too crowded. It really doesn't matter as long as we get to eat.

Annual Spring/Summer get together at Hooters could become a big thing. We might want to explore that a little further?????

 

Man, I don't want to have to wait to spring or summer to go to Hooters . Kaju & Papa, if you guys decide you want to have "pre-meet planning meeting" at Hooters before the actual meet on the 17th, let me know Otherwise, I'll make plans to see you all on the 17th
