First off I wanted to thank everyone for coming by Saturday to our Toyota/Lexus meet.
Ethan, Appreciate everything you did, thank you
Ryan, From SC3, thank you for everything
I'm sorry everyone didn't have a good time, I tried my best to organize this meet and get all the clubs together. I know parking wasn't very good...........I do this because I genuinely have a passion for cars, performance, my dealer doesn't ask me to throw these.......... it has always been my idea.
I'm not an expert on meets, I'm just a guy at a car dealer trying to get people together, I'm learning as we go along, I want everyone to enjoy it. I thought having some vendors here would help, something different...............
Here's what I would like to do in the future:
Separate the meets, because it's too big, Toyota in Spring,Lexus in Fall......vice-versa..............cooler weather!!
Parking-I knew it would be crowded but.......didn't expect this, I was planning on moving all the cars The GM and myself walked the lot 2 weeks ago , Friday there was 300 more cars that arrived between this period, it was impossible to move and store them. Next time there will be plenty of room..............
Food-people we're bogarting the sandwiches, I had 9-6 foot subs, enough to feed 270 people, but what I saw was all out get what you can..........next time tickets will be given out and someone stationed there.
Heat-change the time of year, yeah, it was to hot, I'm sunburned like you wouldn't believe............I should have bought more water, I had 300 drinks........again, didn't know it was going to be this hot.
Car show-small entrance fee, something else for interest, give out cash prizes, different categories....
Raffle-different items tailored to each event.
Music-Thinking about a DJ...I wanted people to be able to interact and talk with each other, I've been to meets where you couldn't hear anyone...........
These are my thoughts, I'm open to suggestions, feedback and any help you want to give me,I can use your help.
Thanks again everyone, it will get better every year!!

C'mon Steve. Next time you'll really have to work on controlling the weather better, I can't believe you let it get that hot out there for your meet.
You should be commended for even trying to take something like this on.
There are always lessons to be learned - but I for one would love to have been able to go to something like this (locally even!) and have someone like you to organize and host it.
Thanks, Steve.

Steve, the meet was awesome. I had fun and honestly people, the food, drinks, and prizes are all just bonuses courtesy Steve. Especially since admission was open-door and FREE. Anyway, thanks again for hookin up the TRD truck and vendor tents. The organization factor is probably above my comprehension and for all that work alone I commend you. If people didn't have fun because there wasn't enough food or they didn't win the prize they wanted, then screw them. They will always be unhappy and unappreciative. There were some minor problems arranging all the cars, but you can't be blamed when 250 cars try to cram into a 150 car lot. I think the meet was a success, worth the 400 mile drive.
PS I'm sun burnt to hell!

I want to also say thank you, from all of us at teamsc3. I have no complaints and I personally had a good time. Thank you for giving us all the opportunity to come together and hang out for a couple hours.
ps...I like what you and your son have done to his car. You looking to adopt a 20 year old daughter?!?!

Steve,
I would like to personally say THANK YOU for providing a central location where a group of "enthusiasts" can gather, talk and share ideas and plans of our mobile passions.
I truly enjoyed this event and look forward to attending many more in the future. I saw many familiar faces and met just as many new people who share similar interests. It was unfortunate that many people didn't share my enjoyable experience and felt they did not enjoy this meet. Please do not take the negative comments as disrespect and decide NOT to hold similar events in the future; we are much appreciative of your effort and hospitality
I enjoyed it so much, I stayed close to the very end and helped pickup trash with LS 400 (the janitor king
).
Also much thanks to Ethan and Ryan for organizing this event.

Steve, next time, get a group buy together on the weather, so it will be cooler
Wish us East Coasters were there, who eats sandwiches?
I'd brought me a 3 lbs Big Mac to eat, lol.
I tell you what, you, Ethan and the other organizers gave people something they will never forget!

If my wife allows next year, I will help you guys out for the next big event.......
We cannot quit at this point, guys. We have came so far and there is no turning back. The meet will just get bigger and better from this point on. Life experience is what's all these about, good or bad.
My wife did yelled at me for not putting the sun screen on.
Yup, it hurts like a mother! ouch
Good job Steve, Ethan, Ryan and everyone who were involved with the meet.

I would like to add my thanks to Ethan, Steve, Ryan, Angel and all the others that worked so hard to put the meet togother for all of us. I also would like to thank the SD convoy crew for swinging thru and picking up my sorry butt
I was great seeing members that I met at previous meets once again. I only wish that I had taken the time to meet some of the other members that I want to meet...seems everybody was there.
