I picked up a new whip

I drove from Seattle to Idaho last weekend to pick up the bike of my dreams. The Suzuki TL1000R aka 'tha tiller'
Since the introduction in 1998 thru the end of production in 03' I told myself I would someday own one. This is my 14th streetbike.
Some 250ish dollars later in fuel I have my bike.

And my new babe' For some reason they are hard to come across in western washtington. I wanted the Blue/White but found this one for a decent price if you exclude my fuel cost. lol

 

glad to see another v-twin sport bike, i have 3 other buddies with v-twin sportbikes, a buell xb12r duc 996 and a honda rc51 (not running right now )
i'd be down for a ride some time drop me a pm so we can plan something! we should get the clublexus bike riders together sometime too.
nice pipes by the way, what else do ya got hiding under there? so far i have just have pipes ecm and airfilter and some cosmetic mods, mirrors relocated the turnsignals and i'm currently in the process of installing a bi-xenon hid projector out of an a6 into the low beam spot, should be done by the end of this week. duc. seattle is hosting a dynoday/bbq next week so i'm hoping to have it ready in time.

 

I dont have anything else done to my bike. The pipes came on it, sounds like a harley below 4k. I might do some small mods, depending on time away from other projects. I would do the TRE mod, Airbox/K&N & PCII. But only to get better fuel enon. The only cosmetic thing I want to do is get rid of the lame rear blinkers the po put on. And paint the bike suzuki three tone blue and white. I looked for 6months to find a blue and white with no luck.

My buddy finally got his 848 last weekend. He went to go to montana to get it. Hes got a bunch of mods already.
