Hey everyone!

I posted a few threads about potentially moving up here, and I finally took the plunge. I drove up from California on Friday night, stayed in a hotel, and I found a place on Saturday. I'm currently living in Belltown, and I like it. I'm working in Redmond, so the commute kind of sucks, but I prefer the city life. Found myself a nice studio with a short-term lease so I have the option of buying later.

And guess what, I got rear ended today on my FIRST day of work. And I just had my car FULLY repainted less than 3 weeks ago.

So anyone know any good body shops around here? What else is going on out here? I stil hvae a lot of exploring to do around the city.. its beautiful.

If you guys make it out to Belltown, let me know, I'm always down to hit up the bars.

 

WELCOME, WORLD TRAVELER! Sorry to hear about the car damage, man Car Star in Bellevue does a great job, as does Bellevue Auto Body Rebuild (I believe that's the name). Do look around until you feel comfortable with a place. FYI... Seattle drivers are F*%$*@N HORRIBLE! Get used to it Anyways, welcome to the Northwest! Everybody in here's nice except audi2nr... He killed my first born and called me names... He does have a nice car though so it's ok

Welcome to Rainy City! That sucks about your car, but wait til the rain starts, both the traffic and the drivers get really bad.

Belltown is a good place to stay. I've been known to frequent Ohana's. I'll let you know if I'm in the neighborhood then you can buy me a Crown Royal, heh heh.

Hey welcome to the area! That sucks about the car though, what a terrible introduction. I hope the guy had insurance. On that note JMI Motoring does great work but its a bit of a drive, thats where Audi2nr got his car painted and all.

DAMN, I never knew they were up here, i'm right up the hill from the airport, i do remember driving by the airport and seeing that Skyline, almost broke my neck when it rolled by

 

lol i was up in mountvernon this morning and i was getting onto the freeway when this like 2000 911 carrerra with 2 dudes made a left turn comming at me, jaws just dropped when the saw my car they were younger dudes im guessing dads car

 

That's honestly one of the best feelings ever. When people just eye your car as you roll by, makes you feel like you really made a nice piece of art.
