Default pre-friday the 13th

got rear-ended by a cherokee suv at the 101 north freeway last oct 9th. the owner of the body shop told me that i was lucky that the car didn't blow up coz the impact hit the gast tank . i'm undergoing PT for my neck, shoulder and back pain. this is my first accident...at least the guy who hit me has auto insurance. btw, i saw an accident on 105 west (fast lane) last thursday evening.... another black onyx 2is that got rear-ended.

looks horrible! Glad to see that you walked out okay. It is a good thing that the IS is a very safe car. Is the car totalled?

I have a few friends who got into accidents. They were fine the first day but after days or even years, the symptoms of the accident came back because they did not see the doctor. I hope you get your body back in shape!

My condolences. That's a pretty hard hit. I'll be surprised if it doesn't total.

when my dads car got hit from the side it was pretty ugly... wish i still had the pictures but anyways i thought it would never look or feel the same. after the crash, the front fender was comlpetely just... hanging off and the front tire was completely rubbing up against it it was all bad, not to mention that the suspension got a little mest up. after all that, i saw the car a few weeks later and it looked perfectly normal. i was really shocked, at first i was wondering if we were at the wrong car :-p. it was as if it just came out of the factory haha. do you live in the bay area?

Glad to hear your ok. Btw the hit doesnt look like it hit the under body of the car only the upper parts. If it isnt totaled i think it will drive the same.
