Hi everyone,

I wanted to drop in and say hello to the Lexus community here in Seattle.

Don't have a Lexus yet, but that will be taken care in a few months.

Welcome, there's a pretty good number of people from Hawaii living in and around Seattle from what I know (I have a friend at work from Hawaii that just had a huge wedding).

Welcome to Seattle, where our weather is bipolar, women require big bank accounts, and cars stay clean for roughly 12 hours Hope you're enjoying the move and you should come to one of the meets for sure

Thank you for the welcome everyone. I'll hopefully be able to make it out to one of the meets. How often are they held?

Not much different than Hawaii then, actually not much different from most places in the US. LOL

Roundeye - where did you live on Oahu?

I was thinking the same thing when I was moving here. LOL

Hawaii has gotten insane as for housing. Renting a decent studio in or around the downtown area, would run you about $1000 - $1200. And the pay scale there is below the mainland. That's definately crazy.

yah hawaii is a great place to visit but living there is pricey. you dont have the luxurious heat and sun like you have in hawaii but a lot of people fall in love with the earthy tones and all the green trees. I love it here.. no place i'd rather be.. and ive visited a lot of places before

boring

no i love it here in Seattle too.. but my only beef.. and its a big one.. is the weather.. i can't stand it any longer..

we've had a total of 7 - 10 days that were actually nice for summer.. and judging by the looks outside and the upcoming forecast.. summers over.

im scared to go to hawaii.. once i touch ground i know i won't wanna leave
