Just got a 1997 Lexus SC (Timing Belt)

How often timing belt has to be change? it's at 88k miles right now and have no idea when was it last changed, Can anyone from so cal recommend a shop because Leuxs dealer's will chop me...

its should be changed around 90k. At the dealer it will cost you more and a 1k bucks. Find a shop around your house and it will cost around 600 bucks

A change was done at 50 or so a sticker on the engine says, but I did it again at 120 for about 1K at a local place... dealer wanted 2200.
