Washington ROLL CALL
I'm moving to downtown seattle at the end of the month.
See you guys around! My car is in pieces right now but will be going to the body shop to get some work done and a new paint job, but it will still look sorta like this when I get it back...

I just picked up a 2000 GS400 this fall, so I wanted to say hi.
I'd love to get together if a meet ever happens up here, but hopefully I'll have a chance to do more than just a stoptech kit to my car before then.

Well good luck with the move and hope to see you in Seattle meet soon...
Yeah I am moving to Seattle, I need to get out of Portland badly. So its time for a change. I will definitly show up to some of the seattle meets, as soon as my car is done that is...Ive got a pretty long ways to go. But it will be back better looking and much faster than ever!

wow looks really nice! If you can guess why im looking for parts for a swap ive had one of those sitting in my shop as well. probably wont post any pictures of it until its all complete however. but done building it now so its ready to go in!
need to find a soarer 5 speed, getrag or decent TH400 though. that will be quite the monster when you have it finished...any particular reason you are making your own turbo manifold? looks like it will be extra long runners? also where did you get the carbon cover? Ive been looking for one. once we get everything completed, we'll need to all meet up. that would be really cool, bring some models or something for a photo op as well. oh yeah...whats holding up your turbo in this pic? i cant see anything. must be magic.

Ed,
The turbo flange/collector is being held by a bracket temporarily welded to the main header flange. I've always made my own turbo manifolds. I use 321 ss and burns collectors. Here's one I made for my original 7M motor. The CF cover is made by IPT and you can get it through MVP motorsports, I think they are a vendor here now too. Ron

thanks for the info! yeah when i got your box i saw you own/run a fabrication shop...i would make all my own if i could too i suppose. That looks incredible by the way...and i like how you have the wastegate mounted, easy access. Heres a pic of mine, not much to look at really, but crower valve train and .60/.68 single. will make 450 rwhp, until i get a getrag and aem in there then i have a T61 .68/.84 that should go 550-600 rwhp.
