Thumbs up Newbie here. SoCal People need some help.

Hi Everyone

I am a Newbie here

I Want to purchase A new GS300 in about a week or so

I optioned it out on Lexus.com and it turned out to be around 44,000 minus taxes etc. I think there is only one navigation package

What is the best and friendliest dealer in SoCal? What have you guys experienced? I have heard Lexus dealers are very nice people

How much can I get off List? I would like to get this car 40 out the door if possible

Thank you all in advanced

Great forum!

Although I didn't buy my car there, I heard Longo Lexus is the place to go... Very friendly and have good prices. Keyes Lexus is another place I would check out...

I'm going to move your thread to the regional forums for more So. Cali peeps to chime in...

I got my '03 SportDesign for around invoice price from Lexus of Westminster. I dealt with their internet department and had the price firmed up over the phone and via email before even stepping foot on the lot. Could I have haggled the price down any more? I don't know, but I was happy with the price so it didn't matter...

I did buy near the end of the season, though, so they might not be as willing to deal right now.

Hey Thanks for the Welcome guys,

I think I will check out Longo Lexus. Can anyone refer me to a good salesman who is down to earth and willing to give a deal.

I hoping maybe I can find a leftover 03 so I can save some money. I Am not buying a used car btw

I am a former Mercedes-Benz Owner and I am just fed up with the electrical problems, lack of quality, and dealership service. I am not looking for a perfect car but I want one that is pretty damn close. I am looking for a hassle-free ownership. What kind of problems have you guys had?

All though the GS300 is a 6 yr old car I still feel it is one of the most beautfiful cars and one of Lexi's best! I was thinking of waiting until the New design but I dont want to wait anymore and I dont want to buy the first 2 years of a new body for glitches.

*To the moderator*- Can I request that you move this back to the GS forum? I figured out where to go now to buy my GS and I just want to interact with some of the other GS Owners here. this regional forum looks somewhat inactive.

Thank you

Robert

Robert,

The entire forum is a little slow during the holiday. If you have additional regional questions, this is the right spot to ask them and you'll get answers (don't think you have any outstanding ones you haven't asked). If you have new questions about the car, etc just post them as a new entry in the appropriate forum. Be sure to try the search feature to see if your questions have already been answered!

I can make a couple of suggestions to where NOT to have your Lexus serviced from personal experience.

Riverside Lexus-Stay away-Parts Dept is good, sales and service are not
Crown Lexus-Even worse-Horrible sales staff ,parts, and Service "Consultants". A Lexus nightmare. Plus, they mark up on List prices from 5-10%.

Westminseter Lexus was good
Longo was ok though parts was average

Welcome to the Lexus world. Enjoy it.

Default Lexus of Carlsbad

I take my SC400 to Lexus of Carlsbad located off the 5 freeway. The people there know how to treat the customer. Not to mention, they offer free washes whenever you want.
