17 NX F sport front strut leak?
I got a 17 NX f sport and found a nice oily puddle in my brand new garage floor.(not happy). Found this in my front driver’s side strut area. Car was bought brand new back in 16 and only has 15k miles and barely driven. Don’t off-road and didn’t hit anything hard. Taking it to the dealership on Monday. Anybody ever had this issue before? Entire fender liners is covered with oily fluid. Went underneath the car and did not look like it was the cv axle, brake fluid, and etc.

I’ve not heard of anyone here having that problem. In 2006 we bought a new Rav 4, it developed a rear shock leak about a year after purchase. Warranty replaced it and we had no other issues with the car. Occasionally something will not get assembled correctly and will fail prematurely. Fortunately, we have warranties for those problems.

Thanks guys for the reply. I couldn’t find anything online about this either.
I took it to Lexus today and they said nothing is wrong and that I must of ran over something and it exploded around my front driver’s strut area and went into the fender liner. They cleaned up inside the strut and inner fender liner area. They said to keep an eye on it to see if anymore leaks onto my garage floor.
hmmmmm. I am skeptical but I will wait and see.

I would agree with the dealer, when struts leak they don't tend to get on anything but the strut itself...it wouldn't spray the fender or anything.
My first guess seeing the pictures was a bad rust proofing job...but hitting something on the road seems equally likely.
