Question MP3 player for NX

Hello. What brand of MP3 player plays nice with the NX's stereo? I would like to have the majority of my library in the NX, but I would like it to automatically start playing when I start the car every time instead of fiddling with the mp3 player every time I want to go somewhere. My older Benz has an SD card that was awesome. I didn't have to do a thing every time I started the car. I have a Apple iPod, but the memory space sucks and it doesn't start every time I start the NX.

Any recommendations are appreciated! - Lance

An iPod is the best fit for a Lexus. We leave ours turned on and plugged with a .5 meter (14") Apple
USB cord. It will take a minute initially for the radio head to index all the iTune songs but won't have
to do that again until you change the iPod contents. You will get a display of the song information, the
steering wheel rocker will advance or replay each track, the bandwidth is reasonably good and the
iPod stayed charged up. Slip it and the cord when travelling for use in a rental car.

I use a USB thumb drive loaded with mp3 and plug it into the USB slot in the center storage. "USB" will then show up as one of the audio source options on the display (AM,FM, etc). Works great, you don't have to fiddle with anything

Huh? USB drive. Works exactly as you described your wish. Though, when I tried connecting 1Tb drive, it didn't like it. Couldn't read. I think, it maxes out at 500gb.
Make sure USB drive is in FAT32 format, or it won't play.
