Not sure about the 200t, but the RX had a production run of bad seals in the sunroof where the adhesive didn't stick well and would fall off and get caught up in the mechanism. Happened to my 2016 RX. If it's new, just call your dealer and have them come pick it up and bring you a loaner. You're under warranty and they should fix it.
Are you talking about the actual glass sunroof itself won't close? If so, if it's anything like my 2IS, I just needed to press and hold the ****/button for like 5 seconds to reset the system.
