Rust proofing?
Hey guys,
Just signed the papers on an NX200t F Sport. I apologize if this has been discussed but I was wondering if it's worth getting the dealers rust protection module. From my understanding the car is galvanized and extra rust proofing shouldn't be necessary. Please advise. I'm in Ontario, Canada btw.
Still got a 6 week wait til the car arrives, so got some time to think this thru.

Congrats on your purchase. I ordered mine last week and picking it up mid week. I'm in Ontario too. Did not get the fsport, only got 200t with premium package.
The rust module delays the rust for 9 years. I did not opt for it, and you can still add it later on. I've heard people days if you don't drive your car for an extended period of time, your battery will die. I don't think it's needed. It really depends on how long you plan to keep it.
