We are in shock. Got nx 450h+ Recently. Our battery drained and we took it into the dealership. They found this attached to our battery. They aren’t sure what it is but they think it’s a gps tracker but not sure.
If you are able to pull it out enough to see if it has an FCC ID on it you can actually go to the FCC website and look up the ID number and find out who the manufacturer is.
This looks like a Stargard that was installed in our vehicle. Is it attached to the battery? It was an extra cost "option" that really wasn't an option on our vehicle, as all come with them as standard from our dealership.

this right here is what makes me absolutely despise dealerships. This is not a reflection on you, or anybody who purchased a vehicle with some sort of vehicle tracker added to it. These cars have tracking built-in with the OnStar type of services that come with virtually every car these days. Something like LoJack or Stargard is completely unnecessary and redundant. The fact they go in and hack up the factory wiring harness so they can force this crap on people is disgusting. As much as I would love to work in the car business, and at a dealership so I can be around the shiny toys every day, I would never do it because I’m not a greedy SOB.
My 2020 RX350 was stolen in December from an airport parking lot around 1:05 PM, broad daylight. "Secure" fenced, controlled entry/exit lot. I was able to connect to the app when we returned for a day or so. Saw that it was stolen 8 days earlier, driven around for about 1/2 hour until the thieves disabled the GPS. If the car had an aftermarket setup, perhaps like this, it may not have been as easy to steal or may be recoverable. So far, no sign of mine. I'm thinking may install an aftermarket tracker in my next vehicle just for this reason. Immobilizer as well. The hassle one goes through, particularly now that deliveries for new cars are 6-9 months, makes aftermarket theft prevention so much more valuable. Thing is, Lexus and all the manufacturers should get their collective s_ _ t together and developed a functional truly theft proof system. This is a huge issue and we are all paying for it through our insurance premiums.
