Has any one seen the design details on how the fast response heater option works?

I assume it only only functions during start-up for a few minutes and is a small electrical restive heater working of the hybrid batter.

 

According to this article on Cars.com, it's an auxiliary electric heater.

 

Thanks. I for the link. I had never seen any write up. After my last cold running car (CRV 17 with 1.5T), I added all the winter package on the NX.

What is nice about the NX, when you remote start it, the heated seats turn-on also. The CRV besides the remote start not warming the cabin, the seats did not seven turn-on.

 

And through the app, you can also set up the heated steering wheel and windshield defrosters to turn on.
