Default Still MSRP prices?

I'm looking at possibility getting my daughter an NX 250 or a 350. Is everyone still paying MSRP prices for 2022 and 2023 models? If not, please let me know the details of your transaction. I'm not used to paying msrp unless it is a brand new beginning of the year model.

2022 NX prices might start going down as 2023s arrive , But then there are very few 2022s not spoken for. Don't get your daughter a 250 get a 350h instead even if base 350h

YMMV,

Is the 250 too underpowered for the weight of the car? I saw a 8.6 sec. rated and think it would be perfect for that lead foot girl. She learned to drive with a 4.7 second car with all the techies, so I need something to keep her grounded. Seriously.

Otherwise, we could look into the 350. I see dealers showing 2023 VINs, but if I could get a 2022 for a bit of a discount, that would be nice.

most aren’t discounting the 22. But I think they will be soon as customers will opt for the 23 if it’s the same price. Just hold

How much discounts are they doing on the 22' on your area? And what State/City are you in? I'm waiting until the last week of December. if no discounts, I'll just get a 23. The dealers I'm looking at have several 23' 350 but not the hybrid. They have several 22' 250 base in stock. I guess no one really wants the weak engine.

Supply of the non-hybrid models is picking up at the dealers near me in So Cal. With increased inventory, there should be better deals available.

Our local dealer has close to a dozen 2022 NX 350 in stock with most running $500- $1000 under MSRP. The 2023 are all at MSRP. Tampa Fl

I test drove the 250, 350 and 350H. Here is my take.
250 is slow, even for my 49YO wife.
350 is has a better kick due the the turbo.
350H hits the spot for my wife and 38-40MPG helps.

I called Longo Lexus and they are telling me there is a wait list of 400 (=1.5 Years) on the NX350H and they are selling at MSRP, no markup nor dealer add ons.
Lexus of Pleasanton in the SF Bay Area is charging $700 on add on, no markups. I am on their waiting list.

My salesperson in mass says they have a waitlist for the 350h that goes 9-12 months wait. It appears Lexus should build at least 50 percent of their vehicles the 350h. Hope they catch on soon

Actually my salesperson called me couple so weeks ago and had a 350H for me. Unfortunately it was all black interior and no moonroof. Wife did not want it, back on the waiting list. Seems like production is catching on slowing or maybe many buyers are backing out of the list due due to inflation/high interest rate?
