Just wondering what additional coverage packages/ extended warranties other NX customers have purchased from the dealership when buying their vehicle, 1st time Lexus buyer in Canada here so just trying to get an idea of what is most common to purchase. Thank you for your time

I didn't buy any extended warranty either.

 

I got the rim and tire protection for 3 years. Around $800 with taxes. It also covers winter tires as rims as long as it's registered to the vehicle. Warranty directly from Lexus Canada (so stick with the vehicle if you sell it).

Will pay for itself if I have one tire damaged during the next 3 years. Seemed reasonable considering the cost of the 20' tires.

 

I bumped the factory warranty from 48m/80k km to 48/100k km.

 

I bought 60m/100k km extended warranty which includes the 3 years of maintenance service, and also bought at $999 for 7 years of rim and tire protection as @shiftD7 said, it extends to winter tires and rims as well as long as it's purchased at the dealership. The warranty has now gone up in price. I believe it's now $1200 for 7 years and you can only get 5 years with the same price.
