We ordered from West Side (though we live in The Woodlands) as it seemed like the largest volume dealer. (That place is HUGE!! The lot is not that big; but, the building is cavernous!)
You could be waiting ages for a specific color combo. We said we were okay with any color and Cadmium Orange F was coming in first; so, we agreed to it in hopes of getting the full tax credit. I already feel a little self conscious about getting a Lexus... a flashy orange one would have probably been my last choice. It's an attractive color... hopefully it doesn't attract the attention of wheel and converter thieves.
Nice! That orange is actually really nice in person. You’re not too far from me then. We’re in Spring, but ordered ours from Northside Lexus since they were close to home. Westside Lexus is definitely impressive, especially with their massive garage that can hold all of their inventory. At Northside we were #6 on the 450h+ list, but #1 in line for the F-Sport version. I tried to convince my wife to just take any color F-Sport that comes in, but she is dead set on white. My wife was starting to get tired of waiting and was THIS close to canceling and ordering a Model Y, but she decided to wait it out. It’s all just a waiting game now.
I got a call this evening from Dolan Lexus in Reno. Our NX350H base in Redline arrived at the dealership this afternoon! We're driving "over the hill" (Ebbetts Pass, aka CA-4) this Thursday to pick her up, which is just in time as snow is anticipated on Saturday. I'll post up some pictures later this week. Still diligently watching the great Deep Dive videos from West Side / Northside Lexus :-).
Here she is! We drove from Reno to our home over CA-4, a windy seasonal highway and averaged 40 mpg. I really like the handling and it seems much more robust than the 2015NX that we traded in. If you're looking for a Lexus at MSRP I was impressed by Dolan Lexus in Reno. Our SA, Zac Hoffman (775) 826-5050 was great to work with, as was the finance manager Matt. I can highly recommend this dealership.
