While adding sound deadening materials to my door panels, I figure I should snap some pics of the ML speakers for reference. I'm surprised these little magnets could produce so much bass in the front.

 

Why you're adding material to the door pannels ?

It's mainly to reduce/muffle the amount of noise coming from my car while I listen to music or on phone calls. If you knock on your door panels, it'll sound hollow.

 

Thanks! I've replaced/upgraded all the audio systems in my previous cars, and I don't want to get sucked in again, haha. My wallet is going to hurt in the future

 

The sound on my car is the one thing besides the engine that I do like. Crazy it sounds that well (when wired) with those small magnets.

 

Interesting ML speakers look like pretty generic, run-of-the-mill car speakers.
I am getting the ML upgrade, hope it sounds better than my just average 2017 Touring CRV system.
