How do you turn on the compass? Prior to taking it in for the 1k mile service a compass directional indicator was on our rear view mirror in optical/traditional mode. Now it's gone and I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn it back on. Any thoughts?

Whoa! For real? I've had the car for just over a month now, cleared the 1.5K mile mark and never saw the compass on the digital rear-view mirror, neither in optical nor in digital mode. I've looked at the manual, and did not see this as an option either. I'd love to see if anyone figured it out, as there are no settings to adjust on the mirror itself to display this - and the mirror does look like a self-contained unit with no external controls.
Unless there is some diagnostics menu (which is very possible) - time to start pressing combinations of buttons?
Very odd that they wouldn't offer an option in the settings. If they did disable it, I guess it was probably that it was "out of spec". Not unheard of either - I've had some glitches where my CR-V showed a 360 camera view when in reverse, but since there are no cameras - it was black. It must have been disabled.
