Default Digital Display Rear View Mirror

I used the electronic rear view mirror today and I noticed that there are light glitches in the video every 20 to 30 seconds. It's not much just a very fast white glitch. I am wondering if the signal is transmitted by radio, which could cause this, or if it is wired, in which case there would be a small problem with my unit...

Any of you having the same issue?

Default Digital Display Rear View Mirror

My mirror works fine and doesn't have the problem you described. However, I found it hard to look out the rear view mirror when the digital display is turned on (it makes me dizzy).

Thanks for the feedback. I'll ask the service department to have a look at mine then. Regarding the dizziness, I feel the same way. I found a way to minimize this: I turn the mirror in a totally different angle than the regular position so the screen is basically at 45 degrees from my line of vision when I look straight forward. By turning the mirror towards me it significantly reduces the risk of dizziness... Basically I turn the mirror in such a way that when I turn my head towards the visor it is perpendicular to my line of sight, like a TV screen would be when you are facing it (it's shifted to the left almost completely).

Also try using the adjustments to "zoom" the image out (smaller objects/wider view).
The image can be a bit disturbing when it seems to be much closer than a dead glass mirror.

Today I tried the electronic rear view mirror again and it worked fine. I must have been in a place with high radio transmission power or something causing interference...

The digital mirror initially made us a little dizzy. Zooming out helped a lot. Since you don’t need a mirror “angle”, turning it slightly away helps a bit too. Ultimately, we stuck with it and after a week of heavy driving, we are now totally used to it. It rocks! I think your eyes need to “power through” the first week similar to the first pair of progressive bifocals i got 10 years back. I’d stick with it before turning it off. Really cool when you have a loaded back cabin and normally wouldn’t be able to see through the mirror but since the cameras are outside, your view is perfect. The blind spot elimination and super wide view means we’ll never go back to the basic mirror.

I’m so glad to hear this.

I had felt sick each time using it over the last 3 months but last week did two 460 mile journeys and used tried it periodically On the second journey I did manage to use it for an hour without feeling sick. Given your experience I will persist with it!
