Default Too much heat in garage

I know it's not a lexus thing, but my nx 2018 didn't heat my garage as much as the 350.
seriously it holds too much heat for a long time.
My question is if you have a small garage, what would you do to ventilate it ? Especially the canadian lexus 😀 .

On very warm days, I leave a hot-engined car on the driveway until bedtime, then park in garage. Can you leave the garage door open about 20cm and run a fan to ventilate the garage?
BTW, it's the turbo.

I hadn’t really given it much thought, but yes, mine does seem to retain heat more than my wife’s Equinox or my old 2018 CRV. I usually open the garage door at night for an hour or so, but since I have a brick house, and they retain heat, it just heats back up. Makes me feel better though 😁

Do you let it idle for a minute or two before driving back into the garage? It's great to warm up your house in the winter though...

Good advice for turbos to let them idle 30 seconds before shutting off. Allows cool down and prolongs turbo engine life.

YMMV,

P.S. - I have had a lot of turbos and my first one a 1983 Datsun 280ZX 2+2 turbo manual explicitly stated it needed a cool-down period after every drive.

Thanks for putting that great Commodores song in my head. Great way to start a Sunday morning!!

I've noticed our garage is warmer after putting both cars in after getting home from work but we've also been going through a spell of warm weather. When it gets warm enough to concern me I just leave the garage door open. We live in a rather trouble free area so feel secure doing that. We have one of those Chamberlain MyQ Wi-Fi Smart Garage Door Hub and have it programmed to close the door at 9:00PM if it is open.
