Default NX 450H+ Infotainment issues and volume

I love the new Infotainment (I have the 14 inch screen) but it seems quirky sometimes. About 20-30% of the time, it does not recognize my profile so it won't load Android Auto. Other times it takes a few minutes, which is frustrating as I'm waiting on Android Auto/Google Maps to start moving. Any fixes for this?

Anyway, the other really weird thing is other than Pandora, anytime I try to adjust the volume on anything (phone calls, YouTube, etc) it says volume adjust is disabled. Any clue how to fix this?

ThanksLaz

Ive been having this issue since day one... My go-to solution is just to press and hold the volume button to restart the head unit and 99% of the time itll connect everything and my profile immediately... rather annoying and waiting for Lexus to give us a fix for that. But I agree, I do LOVE the new infotainment when it works haha!

Cool. I'm going to try that next time. Thanks for the tip!

There is a setting related to navigation volume that corrected an issue I had had were Siri volume was so low in Apple Maps and Apple CarPlay phone calls that you could barely hear them.

Is in the Lexus navigation settings? If so, do you know where it's at?

Thanks,

Laz

Sorry, but My car is not close by. I do not have the navigation subscription so the setting has to be in vehicle customization or one of the other Lexus settings. You may want to search threads because I found this setting based on a previous post.

If you have a VPN, turn it off. Fixed 95% of the connection problems I was having with CarPlay, so I assume AA would be similar.
