I leave my windows cracked for the air to move around when it is hot outside, and I do not care if it going to rain or not as the guards will keep the rain out if it rains, but they keep the car cool any day, that is for sure 
The only in-channel guards that I could find and gave the link to are made by Team Heko in Poland. They come with metal clips, two per each guard, I think that is too few to held them secure in place, so I bought another set of those metal clips and now I have four clips holding each guard, which is much better. Guards also have some tape on each end and middle, but I do not think that tape do much anyway, I added more tape on one of the front guards that one day came lose somehow, but the rest are held just fine with four clips and that little tape that originally was on them, so far do not see any issues.

I am planing to install tint will there be an issue with in channel visors?
How is the tint looking on your car at the top of the windows?
